CEA Brings Cutting-Edge Tech Home Training to Electronic House Expo Fall 2008
Electronic House Expo (EHX) recently announced the addition of the Consumer Electronics Association’s (CEA)® Tech Home Training to its industry-leading lineup of educational offerings at EHX Fall 2008. The eighth annual EHX will run November 4-7, 2008 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California.
The Fall EHX conference will include Mini Boot Camps and training sessions taught by custom electronics experts who will offer in-depth analysis of the industry’s most pressing topics. New training offerings include:
* CEA Tech Home Training: This program will feature six sessions from CEA Tech Home members over the four days, covering lighting, home networking, A/V connectivity, project management and a special focus on CEA-CompTIA DHTI+ Certification Prep Review.
* Worthington University: Worthington University, in conjunction with Leviton (Harman Kardon & JBL), HAI, Russound, Proficient and Philips, will present a profitable system solution that is easy to install, configure and integrate.
* Mastering the Rockefeller Habits: In this interactive session, attendees will be introduced to a number of the Rockefeller Habits concepts, which will help them to develop an individual strategic and operational plan for their business.
In addition to these newly added programs, EHX Fall 2008 will also offer both long and short-form educational sessions covering all aspects of the electronic home:
* 100+ Free Manufacturer-Direct Training Sessions: These all-new 90-minute sessions provide product-specific training from EHX exhibitors, allowing attendees to interact directly with manufacturers and learn how their products and services can help them succeed.
* Full-Day Workshops: Taught by industry experts, these intensive training workshops include Media Center University (Julie Jacobson, Editor of CE Pro Magazine), Residential Retrofit Installation Techniques (Grayson Evans, Founder of Training Dept Seminars), and High End Home Theater Design (Sam Cavitt, President of Media Environment Design, Inc.).
* Seminar Sessions: The hottest business and technology topics will be addressed in sessions ranging from home theater to green technology, showroom design to the retrofit market.
