On-Q and Vantage Combine Back Office Functions to Leverage Synergies and Fuel Product Innovation
Legrand's North American division announced today that it will combine the back office functions of On-Q/Legrand and Vantage/Legrand into a single operating unit in order to drive greater innovation and growth of Legrand's total home systems business. Legrand will maintain On-Q's and Vantage's strong, distinct customer brands in the marketplace.
"We expect the gains from these changes will enable us to apply the technology innovations and development capabilities from both teams across the entire home systems market," said Doug Fikse, president of Legrand's home systems division. "The operating efficiencies will enable us to invest additional capital into the business, which will accelerate product innovation and sales growth. This reorganization will position us to deliver unrivaled new products and services in record time and will bolster our position as a leader in the home systems market."
Fikse will lead the combined home systems division with a core management team drawn from both former entities. Ron Wilson, formerly President of Vantage/Legrand, will assume the newly-established role of chief technology officer in order to propel the division to new heights of innovation.
The sales organizations of both On-Q and Vantage will remain separate in order to service the unique needs of the different market segments served by each brand. In addition, both the Orem,Utah and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania offices will be maintained. The Orem location will showcase excellence in home controls engineering and technical excellence while the Harrisburg office will act as the divisional headquarters with a focus on business development, marketing and operations.
